About Siān Marian
I moved to Cambridge in 1976 where for a number of years I pursued a career as a mathematician. However, I did not feel this fulfilled my wishes to work directly with people so I trained in Shiatsu with the British School of Shiatsu-Do, and qualified in 1987. Since then I have pursued an active career, teaching and practising Shiatsu. More recently, in 2007, I also qualified in Craniosacral Therapy. I find the combination of these two forms of healing very powerful and love the way that between them they encompass the wisdom of both the western and eastern medical traditions.‘You have a lovely, enquiring, accepting and non-egotistical touch and I really enjoyed the sessions. I feel much more balanced.’ Michelina Kraft, Pilates teacher
Treatment costs: Shiatsu and Craniosacral Therapy - £40, or 5 for £175 (to be taken within 2 months).
About Peter Joseph
After 28 years in teaching, charity administration and fundraising in New Zealand and the UK, I trained with the Shiatsu College UK in Norwich and graduated in June 2008. I also trained in chair acupressure massage with the European Shiatsu School.I was inspired to take up these trainings through receiving very successful Shiatsu treatment for RSI (Tenosynovitis) in one arm. I have continued to be impressed by Shiatsu’s scope in dealing with many ailments, from biomechanical problems like limb-overuse disorders, through breathing difficulties and asthma, to depression and anxiety. To my practice I bring a keen interest in bodywork and particularly the use of attention and relaxation in the treatment of illness. I also bring skills in connecting with individuals and an ability to empathise. I have over 30 years experience teaching Buddhist meditation. I am also a teacher of Tai-chi (School of Central Equilibrium form), and am available to teach this privately.
Treatment costs: Shiatsu - £35, or 5 for £150 (to be taken within 2 months).

If you are unable to get to my practice, I can do home visits.
'I have benefitted greatly from regular seated Shiatsu massage, as an ongoing treatment to mitigate the physical effects of long hours seated at a computer workstation. The massage has helped alleviate my chronic back-muscle tension, which has directly improved my sense of wellbeing.'
